29 Nov Denver Esthetics School Winter Program Starts in January
The School of Botanical Aesthetics’ 600 hour esthetics program starts in January 2013. This program will teach you the art of mindful skincare over the course of six months. January is the perfect time to begin something new. This is ideal whether you are looking to make a career change or add another healing technique to your repertoire.
This program is unique in that it offers an herbal, botanical and natural focus. The goal of the school is not only to give their students a medical understanding of skin conditions, but learn how to treat these skin conditions with high quality, natural skincare products. The combination of in-class lectures, hands-0n demonstrations, practicum and online learning modules provides a well-rounded delivery of the material.
Upon completion of this program students will be able to identify the highest quality ingredients in skincare products and be able to make their own. Students will learn about the latest advancement in aesthetics including the use of machines and technology. In addition, students will be prepared to take the Colorado state exam to become a licensed esthetician.
The School of Botanical Aesthetics prides itself on using and supporting local skincare company Lily Organics. In fact, depending on the season a tour of their farm and facility is included in your training. In addition, their philosophy is that becoming an esthetician is much more than cosmetic – it is a way to deeply nourish ourselves.
