Natural home remedies to reduce redness

Honey

Make a honey mask. Rinse your skin with warm water, then apply honey to red skin and leave it on for about 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Don’t use honey if your red skin is due to a sunburn.

Aloe Vera

Use Aloe Vera gel, applying it on areas of redness.

Cucumber

Place slices of cucumber on the areas of your skin that are red. Cucumber cools, soothes and tones down the redness.

Chamomile

Drink Chamomile tea internally and use Chamomile compresses externally.

Avocado

Yum! If your skin is red because it is very dry, try an avocado mask. Mash up avocado, apply on your skin. Avocado can help add moisture to your skin.

Oatmeal

If the redness is caused by inflammation you can try Oatmeal. Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory properties. You could make a mask of cucumber and oatmeal to reduce inflammation and redness.
