Sun, clouds, rain, snow – wear sunscreen. Every day. Harmful UV rays don’t go away because of a few clouds, so protecting your skin daily is essential. An SPF of at least 30 is recommended. There are many brands that offer non-greasy sunscreen, so you don’t have to worry about makeup sliding off or feeling weighed down.

Wash your makeup off at night

It can be so easy at the end of a long day or late night out to skip washing off your makeup. Unfortunately, this is bad news for your skin. Not only can it cause breakouts, it can leave permanent damage to your skin in the form of wrinkles, free radicals, and eye area irritation. If you can’t make it to the sink, keep makeup removing wipes by your bedside as a convenient reminder.

Get your moles checked

An annual skin check is crucial to your overall health. Seeing a dermatologist once a year is a good idea, even if you are a diligent self-checker.

Exfoliate

Regular exfoliation is key for healthy, glowing skin. Exfoliation gets rid of dry, flaky, dull skin and leave you looking and feeling soft, smooth, and rejuvenated. Once or twice a week on your face and body is all it takes for the benefits of exfoliation to appear!
