600-Hr Esthetician Program
The 600-Hour Esthetician Licensure program will prepare you to take the state board exams, to become licensed in Esthetics, and to become an amazing asset to the professional community.
Curriculum
Our curriculum includes instruction on the following topics: facials, hair removal, makeup, back-tials, state board prep, sanitation, disinfection, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, skin analysis, natural skincare, medical skincare, aromatherapy, nutrition, product knowledge, lash & brow tinting, retailing, and business/ethics.
The program will set you up for success to pass the state board exams required for licensure in Colorado, and the practicum/clinic hours will give you the confidence and skills necessary to have a results-oriented skincare career!
Program Format
The 600-Hour Esthetician Program includes classroom theory, hands-on training, and student clinic experience. Theory classes are taught through live Zoom instruction, with replays available for students who need to review the material or who cannot attend live. Hands-on training and clinic work take place in person at the school.
Although our live Zoom classes follow a schedule for each start, for example, a cohort can have morning, evening, or combo Zoom classes schedule, you are not required to attend the classes live. You will be able to watch the classes at a later time, if preferred.
The 600-Hour program combines the best in medical, corrective skincare techniques and the best in natural and holistic skincare techniques.
Colorado Esthetician Licensure Training
Training includes both theory and hands-on practice in facials, skin care, facial makeup, hair removal, laws and rules, client care, professional ethics, sanitation, disinfection, and safe work practices.
Occupational Objective:
The graduate will have enough knowledge and experience to take and potentially pass the state board exams in Colorado in order to apply for an Esthetics License with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
After becoming a Licensed Esthetician in Colorado, the graduate should be able to attain an entry-level position as an Esthetician at a spa, wellness center, and medical center, as well as have the skill-set to become self-employed in private practice.

Post-Licensure Advanced Classes
The following advanced classes are separate from the 600-hour licensure program and are available for licensed professionals who want additional training.
Microdermabrasion Course (14 hours)

COMPED HOURS
Students with applicable adjacent industry experience are eligible for ‘Comped Hours’. Comped hours do not decrease the amount owed for tuition. Instead, applicable industry experience reduces the required practicum hours.

Career Opportunities After Esthetician Licensure
Graduates of the 600-Hour Esthetician Program may pursue entry-level opportunities in professional skincare after completing state licensing requirements. Career paths may include working in spas, salons, med spas, skincare studios, resorts, wellness centers, or alongside other licensed professionals.
Estheticians may provide services such as facials, skin analysis, hair removal, makeup application, product education, and client skincare support. Many graduates also continue their education with advanced post-licensure classes to expand their skills in specialized areas of esthetics.
Completion of the program prepares students to pursue Colorado esthetician licensure; employment opportunities vary by location, licensing status, experience, and employer requirements.
