Colorado requires students to complete a minimum of 600 hours of training from a state-approved esthetician program to qualify for licensure.

What Affects the Timeline?

The time it takes to complete esthetician school depends on whether you attend full-time, part-time, or follow a custom schedule.

Full-time programs can be completed in approximately 6–7 months.

Part-time or evening programs may take 10–12 months or longer.

All students must complete the full 600 hours of hands-on and classroom training, including skincare theory, facial treatments, waxing, makeup, and more.

Our 600-hour esthetician program is self-paced, so students decide how quickly they finish. We give students 18 months to complete the program, so they can take the full year and a half or finish in as little as 4 months!

For example, a student who completes the 600 hours in 6 months would need to complete around 25 hours a week.
