Microdermabrasion is an effective, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that leaves the complexion looking smoother, feeling softer, and glowing brighter.
This skin resurfacing process involves gently sanding away the epidermis layer of dead skin cells, leaving it supple and vibrant. This is used by a small handheld instrument with a diamond-tipped head to exfoliate the skin. It also stimulates collagen and elastin below the surface of the skin, which in turn is inspired to plump up the skin, as well as contributing to the following:
Sun and age spots
Open and closed comedones
Improve overall skin health and texture
Lines and wrinkles
The Focus of the Microdermabrasion Course for Estheticians is to provide an in-depth study of the science and techniques utilized in this modality, with a conscious effort to ensure utilizing this modality within the scope of practice of and Esthetician in the State of Colorado.
