Making the decision to go to Aesthetics school was a big one for me. I am in my 40’s, with kids and not a ton of time for myself, stuck in a job I no longer have a passion for.
I found SBMA and my prayers were answered! They offered a weekend only course that was perfect for me. From my first class, I knew I was in the right place and these instructors were going to help me with my dreams. The atmosphere at SBMA is amazing, everyone wants to help each other and I have made great friendships. I gained self-confidence and received so much reassurance from my instructors. This was the perfect learning environment for me. Needless to say, I am now a licensed Aesthetician with the experience and knowledge, not to mention the support to achieve my goals of eventually owning my own business. I could not be happier with my overall experience and plan to take continuing education classes at SBMA. The staff and instructors at SBMA really care about the students and it shows in everything they do. Thank you SBMA!!
I am actually a First Assistant to a Surgeon with a background in plastic surgery, dermatology etc. After having a few patients come to some of the clinics I was working at ..they happened to mention they were in school studying to become an estheticians..so…myself and another First Assistant started asking which school to these patients and SBMA came up often…we decided to check into SBMA and loved the options offered to attend. A weekend school was not being offered anywhere else and trust me….working in surgery all week is rough and going to night school was not an option. Weekends worked well for my schedule…Best instructors hands down!! Best preparation for Boards(Practical and Written)hands down!! So proud to be a graduate!! When I mention to other outside Estheticians where I graduated from and blending my surgical career with…they all say they have heard good things about SBMA and wish they attended as well. Much love goes to Hillary, Martin, Emily, Tiffany..best of the best…Thank you for the knowledge.
When I first decided to look for schools for aesthetics I searched online to see what Denver had to offer, well after a friend had graduated from School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics (SBMA), I realized this was the best school for me. It’s close to home and work, affordable, and the every other weekend hours the school offers was perfect for my full-time work schedule.
After starting school at SBMA, I knew I made the right choice! The staff are very friendly, the teachers are full of knowledge and wisdom, and the owner, Hillary Hilliard, is so friendly and makes you feel welcome the minute you meet her. I love that the curriculum incorporates natural and organic products and learning about these products, in addition to the more traditional products and learning. This was truly an amazing journey for me, and Hillary, the staff and teachers made this journey that much more amazing! They all encourage you and support you and impart all the knowledge and wisdom they have learned into you as a student, I highly recommend this school above any other school in Colorado, trust me, you won’t be disappointed for choosing this wonderful School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics!
I am happy to say that I am a licensed aesthetician!!! I couldn’t have done it without Denver School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics. I picked this school because they had such an emphasis on passion and health & wellness, which all go hand in hand with skin! They provided me with endless support. The program left me feeling more than prepared to get out in the real world. It’s such an advantage that we get to learn chem peels, microderm, lash/brow tinting AND dermaplaning. My teacher was mostly Jen and she was amazing!!!! Thank you so much for helping me get started with my journey!
